CUSTOM PRINTING GENERAL INFORMATION

We are very proud of our printing capabilities. We are able to print on the following product lines: Placemats, Traymats, Moist Towelettes, Meal Kits, School Kits, Diet Kits, Coffee Kits, Liners and Wraps, Condiments and Portion Packs, Bags, Bathroom Tissue (individual wrap) and Coffee Filters (retail packaging). We are able to customize the shippers (cases) with your logo or UPC codes. Our lead time, once the artwork proof has been approved, is 2-6 weeks

Artwork, either in the form of electronic file or camera-ready artwork, including pantone numbers and font names, should be forwarded to our graphic department for review. When camera-ready artwork is not available, artwork can be produced at an extra charge. Once a proof has been created, all revisions are subject to an additional fee of 25$ per revision.

Required Formats: Illustrator 9.0 or lower
Quark Express 4.11 or lower
Photoshop 6.0 or lower
Freehand 8.0 or lower

Although we cannot work with files created in any word processing programs such as MS Word or Corel Word Perfect, CorelDraw files can be exported as an “ Illustrator (.ai)” file while keeping the text selected in “curves”. Font files should always be included with your documents.

A fax proof form will be prepared and returned for approval. Remember, lead time, once the signed proof accompanied by an order has been received by us, will vary from 2-6 weeks.

The Process
Once you have determined which product you want to have customized, the steps to follow are:

• Submit your artwork. Artwork can be either in the form of electronic file or camera-ready. They must contain the pantone numbers and font names. Our graphic department can design your artwork but we must have some material to begin with, example a business card, flyer or menu. You tell us what you want and we will produce an initial proof, any modifications thereafter are subject to extra charges.
• Once the proof has been approved and signed by the customer, we then require an order signed by the customer. The lead time, once we have these two items is generally between 2-6 weeks.
• Once the order has been filled, it is prepared and made ready for shipment. We then call the customer and make arrangements for delivery.

Extra Charges
Artwork – Any modification to artwork in the form of electronic file or camera-ready, submitted by the customer, are subject to extra charges. Charges will vary depending on the modifications necessary.

Artwork – When artwork is created by us using the customers initial material, we will produce an initial proof based on the customer’s instructions. However, all modifications are subject to extra charges. Charges are 25$ per modification.

Plates – Each custom printing job requires a certain number of plates. Plate charges vary with each product. For a detail of plate charges, refer to each of the specific product lines found on the “customize it” sheet.

Lead Time
It is very important to complete the artwork and proofing aspect of the project as quickly as possible. Once we have the final proof signed by the customer and we have a firm order then we can manufacture the order. Lead times generally vary between 2-6 weeks.
